Three years after being kicked out of the science department for his theory of Time warps, and his attempt on Matt Lauer's life, Rick Marshall is reduced to working as a teacher at the George C. Page Museum until he meets Holly Cantrell whose finding urges him to create a tachyon amplifier to enable time warp travel. They go to the Devils Cave attraction where the finding was found, hiring its tour guide Will Stanton. But once they've activated the tachyon amplifier, losing it in the process, the three end up in a parallel universe where all timelines converge. They soon meet some ape men, Pakuni, two of whom were going to kill the younger one, when Stanton unintentionally gives the other two the secret of fire as they run off. The gang then proceed to help the other one, named Cha-Ka, until he runs off with them in pursuit.

On July 2, a giant alien mothership enters orbit around Earth and deploys several dozen saucer-shaped "destroyer" spacecraft, each 15 miles (24 km) in width. As the destroyers take positions over some of Earth's major cities, David Levinson (Jeff Goldblum), an MIT-graduate working for a cable company in New York City, discovers hidden satellite transmissions which he believes is a timer counting down to a coordinated attack by the aliens.

With the help of his ex-wife Constance Spano (Margaret Colin), a White House staffer, David and his father Julius (Judd Hirsch) gain entrance into the Oval Office to warn President Thomas J. Whitmore (Bill Pullman) of the impending attack. The President immediately orders large-scale evacuations of the targeted cities, but the aliens attack with advanced directed energy weapons before these could occur. The President, portions of his staff, and the Levinsons narrowly escape aboard Air Force One as a destroyer lays waste to Washington D.C.

How to style individual posts differently using category name

Normally on a blog every post is styled uniform. But wont you think it would be nice if you could style these posts differently. One way to do it is to retrieve the post-ID and then apply style to it. But it is a painstaking process and you would have to repeat the css edit every time a new post is made. Here I am concentrating on a different method. It is by exploiting the post_class(); feature added to WordPress since 2.7. The post loop markup using post_class(); features is given below.

The post_class() generates dynamic class names for each post. They are,

1. .post ( default class assigned to posts)
2. .hentry ( hAtom microformat pages)
3. .sticky
4. .category-x ( x is the category slug )
5. .tag-x ( x is the tag name )

For example ,if you have a post assigned to a category named “games”, that particular post will have a generated class called .category-games. You can style all posts belonging to the “games” category with a different style.

Following the same example you can style all your sticky posts and post with tags differently. I am using a similar techniques on my site to give different color ribbons on posts.
